Yanju Wang has over 20 years of experience in material sciences, including various R&D across medical devices, life sciences, biotechnology, waste water treatment and energy. She has worked globally including Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research, University of California, Los Angeles, and Lead Scientist at GE Global Research Center in Shanghai and New York. Currently, she serves as an Adhesive/Epoxy COE leader for GE Healthcare to drive the vision and standards for adhesives and application practices, providing leadership, guidelines, and planning for the introduction of processes for new product development and existing manufacturing.
Joe Sentendrey, GM - Pressure Sensitive Adhesives, Toyo Ink America
Joe has over 25 years of experience within the coating & laminating field, as well as material science areas such as adhesives, sealants, coatings and a variety of substrate technologies. He has worked as Director and Vice President of technology for organizations such as Rexam and Spinnaker Coating, as well as Business Development Manager for organizations such as Neptco and Digistone. He is presently General Manager of Toyo Ink America, LLC PSA Division, where he has worked for 9 years in his present capacity, as well as the North American Sales Manager.
Scott Pergande, President Sekisui Fuller Co., LTD & Representative Vice President H.B. Fuller
Scott Pergande has over 30 years’ experience in adhesives, sealants, coatings, surface treatments, lubricants and specialty chemicals. Currently, he serves as the Vice President, Global Product Management and Marketing, Engineering Adhesives, H.B. Fuller. In his role, he oversees a diverse team of international people who manages various product and technology portfolios for the Electronics, Automotive, Transportation, General Industries, New Energy, Aerospace, Marine and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) markets. His organization is responsible for internal and external aspects of product planning, marketing, analytics and delivery processes that produce market/customer driven value added products and solutions.
During Scott’s career he has worked and lived internationally and previously held management and strategic roles in Henkel, Loctite and Mobil Oil. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University (LSU) and a professional certificate in Industrial Distribution from Purdue University.
David Hatrick, VP Innovation, Huntsman
Dr David Hatrick specialises in spectroscopic techniques for materials characterization. Previous career experience includes materials R&D in the nuclear sector, and in R&D consulting in chemicals, advanced materials and consumer products industries. Currently, he is Vice President of Innovation at Huntsman Advanced Materials, leading the technology and innovation activities across the business from early stage technology platform development, through product development and technical service. This includes identifying and executing on major new product / application projects, step out technology opportunities and business model innovations which can sustain future growth of the division.
Giorgio Zaffaroni, Technical Director, Blue Center Innovation Technologies, Permabond
Giorgio Zaffaroni has a background in Chemistry and he is working in Adhesive Technology from more than 20 years with responsibilities in R&D, Technical Assistance, Innovation Management.
His previous significant work experiences were in Fiber Reinforced Polymeric Composites. Here we had assignments in R&D, Technical and Innovation Development.
He is author of co-author of Technical Papers and Patents.
He has been employed in various Companies in many business areas ranging from Aerospace to Buildings, from Electronics to Maintenance.
Dr. Reuben Correia, New Product Development Manager, Birla Carbon
Dr. Reuben Correia is New Product Development Manager, Adhesives & Inks at Birla Carbon and is based at the state-of-the-art Birla Carbon Technology Center in Marietta, Georgia. He leads product innovation in adhesives and inks using Stage-Gate process. Dr. Correia has about two decades of experience formulating Adhesives and Sealants. He has developed Best-In-Class global products that have enabled customers achieve primerless adhesion to a wide variety of metal, painted, plastic, and glass substrates, fast adhesion development even at low temperatures, and quick cure. He also has expertise in efficient manufacturing of sealants using continuous twin screw extruders and a variety of batch mixers. Prior to his current role, Dr. Correia has held positions of Technology Management, Senior Chemist, and Six Sigma Black Belt at GE Silicones and Momentive. He received his Ph.D in Synthetic Organic Methodology and Mechanistic Chemistry from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2003.
