Materials selection made easy with Adhesives & Bonding Expo and Foam Expo under one roof
This March 24–26, the co-located Foam Expo and Adhesives & Bonding Expo North America will open their doors in Novi, Michigan to a diverse and engaged audience of OEMs and professionals from across the supply chain. Free to attend, the event is set to be bigger, bolder, and more comprehensive in coverage than ever before.
The return of Foam Expo marks another year of the world’s largest technical foam event, where attendees have the opportunity to source all types of foam and foam materials. Technology featured at the exhibition includes raw materials, tools and processing equipment, foam convertors and fabricators, and additive and compound suppliers. Those seeking foam solutions can choose from a full selection, from urethanes to polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, and elastomers.
The co-located Adhesives & Bonding Expo launches for the first time this year and represents North America’s largest event for technologies in this industry. The complete suite of material bonding technologies will be showcased, from surface treatment and curing, to bond inspection and all adhesive formulations. Raw materials providers, adhesive and sealant manufacturers, process equipment manufacturers, and all associated service providers will be exhibiting at the show, meaning that attendees can not only identify new opportunities in bonding processes, but also gain unique insights into the systems enabling robust, precise material bonding in modern assembly lines.
Combined, the shows will host more than 500 exhibitors, with many participating in the Product Showcase – a series of live, on-stand demos of innovative technologies and new machinery. Among the big names involved are 3M, demonstrating its tape and laminating adhesives; Loctite, which in its most dramatic demo ever will prove the ultimate bond strength of its technology using a hydraulic pull test; and Foam Creations, where attendees can witness its EVA foam-injection molded products in action. Other exciting exhibitors include Huntsman, Zotefoams, Covestro, and Bostik.
For those keen to learn more about the developments, trends, and decisions affecting the foam and adhesives industries, the free-to-attend conference promises an insightful agenda across three stages: Trends & Applications; Manufacturing & Testing; and Materials (Roundtables). Both Foam Expo and Adhesives & Bonding Expo share the conference agenda, with building a bright future through sustainability and cost efficiency, and designing bonds that last a lifetime under the spotlight.
Delegates from the foam industry won’t want to miss Faurecia speaking in a panel discussion on fulfilling foam application requirements through testing standardization and quality analysis, or Dow debating foam material advancement at a buyers’ guide roundtable. For those working in adhesives and bonding, sessions of particular interest include a presentation on plotting the industrialized future of bio materials and green chemicals, in which Ford is speaking, and GE Healthcare participating in a Q&A on end-user application requirements for bonding and joining technologies to enable adhesive technology development. For the full conference agenda and to ensure you don’t miss industry leaders from FoamPartner, Armacell, LORD, Microsoft, and Henkel sharing fresh insights, visit the event website.
